Dan Henderson founded DLH Industrial after getting into industrial real estate through operating businesses that needed industrial property.

Over the past two decades, Henderson has been the principal investor and dealmaker behind dozens of industrial real estate transactions representing tens of millions of dollars in acquisitions and investments.

The experience wasn’t built inside a traditional real estate investment firm. It came from owning and operating businesses in drilling equipment, manufacturing, heavy equipment and industrial services—and from buying the properties those kinds of businesses actually use.

Henderson typically identifies the opportunity, structures the transaction, assembles the capital and partners when appropriate, acquires the property, and oversees the strategy through improvement, leasing, stabilization or disposition.

That operating background remains central to DLH Industrial today.
