Fertilizers

As the earth's population and human consumption increases, a strong reliance on the Agriculture industry will grow even further. Fertilizers are split into three types N (Nitrogen), P (Phosphorus) and K (Potash), according to the main nutrients needed by crop plants. At Ennero we are driven by the need to supply the growing future of this industry namely its farmers and commercial enterprises. With an end goal of seeing your products grow and flourish, Ennero supplies a vast array of fertilizers with reliability and quality to meet the ever changing cyclical and seasonal needs of our clients.

Ammonium Sulphate

Ammonium Sulphate is an inorganic salt with a number of commercial uses. The most common use is as a soil fertilizer. It contains 21% nitrogen and 24% sulphur. The primary use of ammonium sulphate is as a fertilizer for alkaline soils. In the soil the ammonium ion is released and forms a small amount of acid, lowering the pH balance of the soil, while contributing essential nitrogen for plant growth. Currently, ammonium sulphate is mostly sold in the form of crystals, which are difficult to incorporate into granulated fertilizer blends. Granulated ammonium sulphate is a high-quality fertilizer that is traded at higher prices than standard products in crystalline form. Ennero currently supplies both Crystalline and Granular Ammonium Sulphate in a various packaging size from bulk, container in bulk, metric ton bags or customer labelled 25kg / 50 kg bags.

Potash

Potash is a potassium-rich salt that is mined from underground deposits formed from evaporated sea beds millions of years ago. Potassium is an essential element for all plant, animal and human life. Potassium is an important element because when there is a potassium deficiency in the soil, fertilizers containing potassium are used to help boost crop yields and improve the quality of the plant. Potassium protects plants from extreme temperatures. It helps plants to fight stress and disease, and deter pests such as weeds and insects. Potassium stops wilting, strengthens roots and stems, and assists in transferring food.

Sulphate of Potash

Otherwise known as Potassium Sulphate, SOP is the inorganic compound with formula K2SO4, a white water-soluble solid. It is commonly used in fertilizers, providing both potassium and sulphur. The dominant use of potassium sulphate is as a fertilizer. K2SO4 does not contain chloride, which can be harmful to some crops. Potassium sulphate is preferred for these crops, which include tobacco and some fruits and vegetables. Crops that are less sensitive may still require potassium sulphate for optimal growth if the soil accumulates chloride from irrigation water.
